About jeff
Jeff has been a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia (TLABC) since 1984, and a member of the Executive and Board of Governors for 20 years. He has chaired, co-chaired, and presented at numerous conferences organized for lawyers and medical professionals treating personal loss.
Earlier in his career, Jeff also practiced commercial litigation with clients including the largest advertising agency in Western Canada, the largest furniture manufacturer in Western Canada, and one of the world’s largest paint and chemical companies. So, big issues? Not a problem.
Before obtaining his law degree Jeff studied science, engineering, commerce, and worked as a carpenter, a labourer, in mining exploration, fisheries research, and real estate. He has had a lifelong interest in economics and politics and has served as an officer and director of two national organizations that have effected legislative change at the federal level.
His diverse background equips Jeff to appreciate the damage and disruption that injury brings to both person and profession, and his understanding of engineering, science, and injury, have allowed him to develop credibility with insurers and the Court, in explaining injury and consequences, and recovering full damages.
